We took a trip to Texas to watch the eclipse in April 2024. On the way there we stopped in Tucumcari to see all the Route 66 Golden Age of Motoring signage. I took some great photos as the sun was going down, but some even better ones after we had had dinner and it was full dark and the neon signs lit up the night. Spectacular!
